Position: Assembly Manager

Location: Wilson, NC

Pay: $65,000$75,000/year

Experience: At least 5 years of assembly-related experience and previous management experience required.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m

Greene Resources is seeking an Assembly Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Oversee assembly of full-size tractors and heavy agricultural equipment, including engines, hydraulics, frames, and axles.
Lead technicians performing mechanical installation, torque procedures, and hydraulic routing.
Manage large-part builds using overhead hoists, forklifts, and heavy-duty tooling.
Monitor assembly schedules to ensure on-time production.
Enforce quality control standards and report non-conformance issues.
Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote and enforce OSHA-compliant safety practices.
Collaborate with Maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain equipment readiness.

Position Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude with strong independent problem-solving skills.
Forklift operator certification and comfort moving large equipment in a warehouse environment.
Training in mechanical assembly and overhead hoist equipment (annual training required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move, stand, kneel, or sit throughout the workday.
Ability to wear required safety equipment, including a hard hat.
